Credentials and/or expectations for the current role are as follows:
 

• Minimum 3 years experience on Excavators (both large and small).
• Experience on other heavy equipment will be considered an asset.
• Must be willing and able to do labour work, should the need arise.
• A minimum Class 5 license is mandatory. Class 1 or Class 3 with endorsement will be considered and asset.
• Must have your own vehicle to travel to and from our office location. Transportation or a vehicle will be provided from there to worksite.
• Willing to produce a Drivers Abstract upon hiring.
• Experience operating dump trucks/5-speed dump trucks (Class 5 license-with Air Brake Endorsement) will be considered an asset.

Your day would consist of but not be limited to:
 

• Pre-inspection of the equipment.
• Greasing and maintenance of equipment.
• Both independent and/or team work depending on job/site.
• Operating one of three different sized excavators (depending on job/site).
• Ditching, landscaping, mulching, placement of gravel, topsoil, etc., grading, foundation repairs, pad work (pools, buildings, parking pads, etc.), septic installation/repair, wells, road/driveway building, lot preparations etc. (the list is endless and forever growing with our type of buisness).
• Minor maintenance and repairs (hydraulic lines, oil changes, etc.)
• Potential for being able to price smaller jobs as time goes on.
• Loading, securing and transporting equipment with a company supplied truck and trailer.
